Renew. Regenerate. Revive. Rebuild (Part 2)

Welcome to part 2 of the topic that I began sharing on last week. In case you haven’t read it, catch it here

God not only wants to renew our minds (Romans 12:2 ) but He wants to renew (freshen, revive, refresh, repair) every other area of our lives.

Here’s a list of the areas that I came across in the Bible and they are:

(Disclaimer: He, in this article,is the Holy Spirit)

  1. He wants to renew our strength

Isaiah 40:30‭-‬31 NKJV Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

  1. He wants to renew our attitudes and thoughts

Ephesians 4:23‭-‬24 NLT Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.

  1. He wants to renew our spirits

Psalms 51:10 AMP Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a right and steadfast spirit within me.

2 Corinthians 4:16 NLT That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.

  1. Our new nature is also renewed as we continue to cast aside the old self

Colossians 3:10 NLT Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.

  1. Lastly He wants to renew our knowledge of Him

Colossians 3:10 ESV And put on the new self which is being renewed in knowldege in the image of its creator.

These are the few that I have covered but remember God renews EVERYTHING so just because I haven’t not mentioned it doesn’t mean that God can’t do it.

It is impossible to achieve all this on our own. The good news is that we have a helper in the person of the Holy Spirit to assist us in this journey. And He is eagerly waiting for each of you to ask Him to come and help you in this journey. It is a process so be patient.

He saved us, resurrecting us through the washing of rebirth. We are made completely new by the Holy Spirit, whom he splashed over us richly by Jesus, the Messiah, our Life Giver.
Titus 3:6 TPT

This marks the end of this part 2 series, thank you for joining me!

Be ye renewed!!
