Go With The Strength You Have

Hey guys!

I’ll keep this post brief because I’m going to embed the video that talks more about this below.

The Lord has been speaking to my heart about young people alot. He has given us various assignments to carry out but we have been afraid to step out because of various things.

Among the things holding us back are:

  • Shame
  • Guilt
  • Condemnation
  • Some of us are yet to move on from the past. We’re hanging on to who we used to be before salvation.
  • Feeling unworthy etc

The scripture I’d like to share with you is 2 Corinthians 5:17 that says

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

So let go of the past. Because of he fact that you have confessed of your sin and turned away from it, the Lord has not only forgiven you but He has also FORGOTTEN about it. So free yourself from the burden of carrying the past into your present and future. It is a trap from the enemy.

LET IT GO!

Living in the past is only going to keep you from seeing the bigger picture of what God has in store for you. Do what the Lord has told you to do and He will lead you and guide you. I promised that I would keep this short so I’ll stop here. But remember this:

Romans 8:1‭-‬2 NLT~ So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.
